About me

My practice is rooted in oil painting and centres on the depiction of quiet moments drawn from my everyday life. Through a series of self portraits, I explore routines and private spaces that are often overlooked or considered insignificant. These moments, such as making cups of tea, eating cereal, or standing in the bathroom mirror brushing my teeth, form the core of my work. By focusing on scenes that feel familiar and understated, I aim to create paintings that allow viewers to recognise something of their own daily experience within my paintings.
