About me
I am an artist based in Manchester. I primarily work in oil paint. Specialising in realism I like to experiment with narrative in my work through the use of pictorial conventions. I have always been fascinated with portraiture through my journey as an artist. Trying to capture emotions and vulnerability through someone’s face through a human process such as drawing and painting piqued an interest to me as a young artist.
Recently my works follow myself navigating the world as an emerging artist. I aim to capture small moments within everyday life that are often overlooked. Focussing on creating a space that feels familiar to everyone. Heavily inspired by film and TV I hope to capture a cinematic quality in my paintings.
